This week was Berlin Fashion week, Winter. Naturally I headed over to the Ethical Green Show Room to check out some of the latest sustainable designs. This year it was located at a different venue, Postbahnof Friedrichshain. The large space really allowed the designers to show off their designs.
The designs which really caught my eye included those with impressive sustainable practices as well as those with interesting textile designs
Here are a few of my stand outs…………
London & Zurich
Komana combine their passion for sustainable and ethical practices with their appreciation for the art world. Their unique pieces are handpainted with water-based inks, which makes each piece completely unique. The Komana designers are sisters and collaborate between the two cities, Zurich and London.
Kitty Ferreira is a UK label which shows how effective dying with ecological products can be. They utilise upcycled fabrics and silks and add their unique textile design through the use of onion and pomegranate skins.
The Berlin based fashion label Format, creates the perfect sustainable and minimalistic garments. All items are organic and are ecologically and ethically certified. The perfect addition for any wardrobe.
Dreams and Doors
Dreams and Doors is a sustainable sportswear label which features organic and ethically produced garments. All products are made in the United Kingdom. The use of colour in their line really caught my eye, I was also drawn to the style lines in their sport wear.

They also have a studio shop in London and online store where they have selected a number of eco brands to showcase and promote.
